One hundred years ago, when Teamsters Local 25 first set up shop, the problems we had to confront in the workplace were so urgent, there was little time to fuss with anything else. A member was a "worker." Period.

Today, Teamsters Local 25 reaches out to members in areas we couldn't have dreamed of back in the good old days: health care... insurance protection... financial counseling... education... legal support... confidential help on personal and relational matters... retirement planning. It's as though we were living in a whole new millennium.

When you become a member of Teamsters Local 25, you'll stand on the shoulders of people who have worked, and are working now, to provide you and your family with extraordinary protections. You'll have an opportunity to share in that legacy—and continue it—for yourself, your spouse, and your children.

When you become a member of Teamsters Local 25, you’are invited to join an extended family with a fairly basic philosophy:
if you need help...ask for it.

Teamsters Local 25 Takes Part in the Massachusetts Girls in Trades Conference

More than 400 young women recently learned what it's like to be a Teamster. The students from 22 vocational high schools received valuable career advice from Teamsters Local 25 in Boston at the first ever Massachusetts Girls in Trades Conference and Career Fair. It was there that they learned about what it's like to work in construction and commercial driving occupations.

Teamsters Local 25 is a big supporter of more women and minorities joining the trades, and the local union set up a booth at the conference to provide information and networking opportunities. The Teamsters were among a number of apprenticeship programs and trade unions participating in the conference.

"We are happy to take part in this event to talk with young people, introduce them to the Teamsters and help with their career questions," said Teamsters Local 25 President Sean O'Brien. "The young people of this country are the future of our union; it's particularly exciting to see young women interested in a future in the trades, and for us to be able to help support those goals."
To learn more about Teamsters Local 25, visit Find out more about the conference on the Facebook page, Girls in Trades Massachusetts.

Still United
"Teamsters Local 25 stood up to the intimidation these workers faced from WB Mason's illegal firings, threats and interrogation. The judge and NLRB has recognized WB Mason's actions for what they were – blatant, unlawful, union busting," said Teamsters Local 25 President Sean O'Brien.
