NORTH DIGHTON / TAUNTON – David S. Parquette, 42, died suddenly Sunday July 26, 2009, in St. Luke’s Hospital, New Bedford. Born in Middleboro, the son of Nancy (Parquette) Fisher, now of Nebraska, he was the husband of Jeannette (Sisson) Parquette.
David educated in the Taunton Public Schools and graduated from Taunton High School. He worked as a truck driver for the Dunkin Donuts Distribution Center in Bellingham, having previously been a truck driver for the former APA Company in Canton.
He was a floor hockey coach at the Taunton Boys and Girls Club for many years, having been a floor hockey player himself. He enjoyed motorcycling, golfing, his Bull Dogs and French Mastiff Dogs and spending time with his family and friends.
David was the father of David, Jr., and Matthew and Eric Parquette, all of North Dighton. He was the brother of Lisa, Linda and Melissa and the grandson of Rita Parquette and the late James Parquette of Lakeville. David was the nephew of Jimmy Parquette of Lakeville; and is survived by many family, friends and loved ones.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service in THE CRAPO-HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 350 Somerset Ave. (Route 138 South), Taunton, Saturday, August 1, 2009, at 10:00AM. Visiting hours will be held Friday, July 31, from 4:00-8:00PM.
