COMPREHENSIVE PROPOSAL [2]

- Teamsters Local 25 is willing
to offer the following wage schedule:
• Ratification - September 30, 2011 -- 5% increase
on all compensation (hourly wages
and shuttle rate mileage)
• October 1, 2011 - September 30, 2012 -- 5% increase
on all compensation (hourly wages
and shuttlerate mileage)
• October 1, 2012 – September 30,
2013 -- 5% increase on all compensation
(hourly wages and shuttlerate mileage)
In return the Union proposes that effective August
1, 2010 the Company agrees to participate in Teamsters
Local 25 Health Services & Insurance Plan.
- The Union proposes that the
Company accept the Union’s:
• Union Security Proposal (April 9, 2010)
• Union Activity (December 16, 2009)
• Union Subcontracting Proposal (March 5, 2010)
• Vacation Proposal (June 23, 2010)
• Holiday Proposal (May 28, 2010)
- The Union will accept the Company’s:
• No Strike/No Lockout Proposal (June 14, 2010)
• Complete Agreement Proposal (April 9, 2010)
• Grievance and Arbitration Proposal (April 9,
2010)
- Open items:
• Discipline and Discharge
• Personal Leave of Absence
• Medical Leave of Absence
• Bona fide utilization of Sick/Personal Leave
will not be the basis of discipline
• Accept the Company’s Incentive Proposal
(June 23, 2010) at the same rateas
other Company hourly paid employees with supporting
information available to Union
• Delay time for shuttle drivers
- All Company policies and procedures
currently in effect will remain in effect unless
otherwise affected by a specific provision of the
collective bargaining agreement.
- All other proposals are withdrawn.
The
current Lead Drivers will receive the same wage
increases as proposed but will be reduced by attrition
and need not be replaced.
Overview of bargaining with DCP
Teamsters Local 25 began negotiation
with DCP on October 21, 2009.
The Committees have met 3 times per month since the
start.
